My 84 GT (vin verified) has a build date on the door tag of June 1984. Very late in the model year. Last 6 Vin digits are 194410 so that should be the 94,041st mustang off the Dearborn assembly line if I'm decoding correctly. Deduct 100,010 from the numbe

Does anyone have any tech knowledge about the Active Valve Exhaust system? How does it work? I know you select the setting from the dash, but what happens in the exhaust system to make this happen?

Bought an 04 anniversary with the crimson red paint. I need to do some paint work on it but a little confused on the right code. If you look it up it shows as FX crimson red. It also comes up as a Merlot red. Are these the same color?
