When my 3.8 goes out in my 96', I'm looking to buy another V6 engine with 20 or so thousand miles (99-2004 engine). Which engine would you recommend? Will it cost much to replace my old 96' 3.8 with a newer 99-04 3.8 engine? Thanks!

2015 Mustang GT; owned since new. 11K miles.
Replaced stoch shifter with MGW after 5K miles. I like the shorter throw but disapointed with the shifting through the gates; just not as smooth as I think it shoud be and does not live up to the user reviews

I have a 1995 V6 that I blew the engine up. I am looking to replace and upgrade it with a 3.8 from a 99-03 mustang. From what I've looked up that should just bolt in. Is the wiring the same? Will I need a retune for it?
