Hey, recently timed my engine and put a new cylinder head on it and between 3500-4200 there is a moderately loud noise that sounds like chain slap. any ideas what it could be? not very loud but not quiet either

Have an 01 base 2 door with the Roush package. Sadly hit a pothole in the dark and tweaked both rims on passenger side. One can be fixed but the other is hosed. While I can get a junkyard special to use for now, I really wants 4 of the same rims.
