Changing the fuel pump and filter on my 289 (2bbl carb) I discovered a slow drip around my accelerator pump housing. Before I dive into that, I was wondering if anyone else experienced that problem and how they fixed it. I found an older discussion thread about the topic, but I'm not sure whether I should replace the diaphragm or the whole mechanism. I am inclined to just replace both since that's cheap enough and easily accomplished, but I could use some advice and maybe some information...
