Bought a 1965 mustang and have been rebuilding with my son...we knew nothing but have learned a lot over the last year. Car has been out on the road a few times (max 10miles at a clip) but yesterday drove it 1.5 miles and it died. At a red light, the Alt light came on about 100yrs before I stopped at the light and engine died (no noise, no stalling, no bucking...just off). Light turned green, hit the gas and nothing. Restarted car, it roared to life, popped it into gear and hit the gas...

Need some experts...little help pls....engine died while driving
