I have an 06 Mustang GT & just replaced the Alternator. Now the battery light is on & Check Charging System error message. But I Check the voltage of the battery with the engine off & i am getting 12.5V. With the car running i am getting around 14.7V with the battery disconnected. I know many have questioned the above error message but what really confuses me is that it seems that I am starting/getting the proper voltage. So what is going on? Is there something I am missing?
