I thought the starter was gone so I bought a new Powermaster 9162 starter. Years ago I had replaced the stock starter with a (I think) Powermaster that has the solenoid on the starter so I'm just using the solenoid on the fender to send power to the starter solenoid. I have been running this since about 2005 with no problems. Since it has been so long I assumed the starter was bad and so ordered the new one.
