I have a 5.0 roller motor. I have been running a carburetor with stock 302 distributor. I have now installed a new 5.0 efi from a 1986-1993 with painless wiring harness. Everything hooked up no problem. My distributor has thick film ignition that plugs in

I want to buy 06 with bad motor and to to install 05 motor.
Junk yard program says, they are different. I know, that engine block #80 is identical to 05-10 Mustangs and 97-10 Explorers (some of them).
Maybe cylinder heads different?

I took my vehicle to a mechanic who fixed my fuel pump after my car was randomly shutting off while driving. That didn't fix the issue so then he put in a new relay. That didn't fix the issue and now he says he is going to have to install a new computer.

Hi guys!
I am working myself through an engine rebuild and am looking for some replacement pushrods for a 1966 2v 289. My caliper reads the old ones at 6.8475". Doing some research, it looks like there were 2 different lengths of rods, 6.803" for years
