I have a 1998 Ford Mustang GT with the 4.6 and it does not stay idling in cold starts once it warms up it will idle but not when it's cold what could be wrong I don't know if there's a timing issue or automatic choke. Would greatly appreciate any leads as

As title states. Will get car up to say 3k rpms before shifting out of 1st, with clutch in, and rpms will stay where I pressed the clutch in. If I let it out, the car will buck and they’ll come back down, and if I shift into 2nd they’ll come down normally

Hey everyone, does anyone know what amp the stock alternator is on these cars? I'm upgrading to a high output alternator for an audio system. And would an alternator labeled for the 10-14 v6 fit the s550 v6?
