Initial review, they’re alright. Night and day difference between old worn out brakes? Yes and no.
If you’re used to modern brakes well they’re nothing like that. You don’t get the sudden “nose dive” when you tap the brakes like on a modern car. But that’s not that pads fault. After all it’s only using a single piston caliper and a “small” rotor with probably a not so strong (compared to modern) master cylinder. But the pads stop the car.
