I'm surprised that I do not see more recent threads on this topic. The sub in my driver side door sounds shot. I listen to a bit of talk radio, baseball games too, while on an evening drive and even the sound of a play by play announcer cracks and rattles. I've heard about the Kicker replacement option, but is that it? I'd prefer something that uses the stock speaker cover/grill.
