Hi All -

I'm getting big sooty spots on the ground when I give the motor some gas. At idle speed, it doesn't happen, but if I give it a bit of gas to get up the hump into the garage, I'm getting ugly sooty spots on the driveway that are impossible to remove. I'm thinking the engine is burning oil, so piston rings? Maybe an exhaust problem, that it's getting through?

Can anyone offer some suggestions as to how to correct the problem? Also, any advice on removing the spots?
