So I bought a generic PCV valve probably from AutoZone a while back for my 289, and with my cam (Comp 282 Magnum solid flat tappet) and carb (680HR), it's idling way too high. I've closed the secondary blades entirely, and the primaries are as closed as I can reasonably get them, and it still idles at 1100-1200 rpm.
