If you’re looking for a cheap Ford F-150 Raptor, then Copart might have just what you’re looking for.
The Ford Raptor is designed for jumping rocks, logs, and sand dunes. But even the desert-ready Raptor and its nearly 14-inches of suspension travel has its limits. And this Raptor looks like it’s reached those limits.
This Raptor has taken a couple of very hard hits. The front bodywork is pretty much just gone, and the back isn’t doing much better. The radiator has been driven back into the engine, both front fenders and the bumper are gone, and there isn’t much left to attach that right front wheel. Even in the rear, the bed has taken a big hit and is probably damaged beyond repair.
The Copart description sums it up perfectly. Primary Damage: All Over. This is a salvage title truck with reported frame damage. But the high bid as of my typing this is just $1,300. For that price, you are getting a cheap 3.5L EcoBoost, three out of the four corners of the suspension (maybe), and most of the cab. EcoBoost Swap? Raptor-kart buggy? The sky’s the limit! But it’s gonna take a lot of work.
