I am planning to replace the distributor on a 1965 (260) coupe, and I came upon this video for timing small block engines.


It seems super helpful and I wanted to ask if this process will work too. I do not have a timing light and this video says I just need a test light and they are definitely cheaper/easier. I guess I am really just asking if this vid checks out? Thank You!

P.S. any tips regarding replacing distributors are more than welcomed!
