.....I bought a 2000 mustang gt from a online auction with the 4.6 in it and when I went to pick it up I started it and there was a really loud knocking sound coming from the front of the engine. I got it home and it still started right up but the knocking sound was not a consistant knocking so as I did some research I read that these motors are known for the timing chain tensioner brackets to break.
