You can now order the limited edition, 480-horsepower 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt.
Unveiled at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt is priced from $47,495 including destination. Buyers will have to choose from one of two colors: Shadow Black and classic Dark Highland Green. The Bullitt also gets subtle chrome accents for the unique black grille and front windows, 19-inch torque-thrust aluminum wheels, and red Brembo brakes. Further setting the Bullitt apart from the standard Mustang is the circular faux gas cap Bullitt logo at the rear center. Other than that, there’s minimal badging inside and out.
Boosting power is a performance open air intake, Mustang Shelby GT350 intake manifold, a larger 87-millimeter throttle body, and unique powertrain control module calibrations. The Bullitt offers 420 pound-feet of torque and has a top speed of 163 mph, an 8 mph increase compared to the Mustang GT. Out back is a fully active black NitroPlate quad-tip exhaust as standard.
Inside the cabin, buyers will get a leather-trimmed interior featuring unique accent stitching in green found on the dash, door panels, center console, and seats.
“The new Bullitt will be every bit as cool and charismatic as the original ’68 Mustang,” said Corey Holter, Ford car group marketing manager. “Since its introduction earlier this year, Ford dealers have been fielding calls from customers wanting to know when they can order this unique piece of automotive history.”
