I discovered while working on my Mustang rear window, broken track, the windows have some kind interlock for the Top, I could not get the top to come up even thou I had fixed the window closed while waiting on parts. The motor could not be left free running or unplugged! I had to jam the window motor, so it would not operate, while waiting on parts.
Then the top operated fine, up or down!
