I'm curious if anyone had installed a dual-band 2m/70cm rig in the S550? I know I can easily mount a trunk lip antenna mount on the front of the lid w/o problems as running the coax to the cabin is easy between the rear seats. However, I don't see an easy place to mount the main body of the transceiver even if using the separation kit to mount the control head up front somewhere. These new vehicles don't seem to have many places to mount a radio, even a small one like the Yaesu FT-7900R...

Any ham operators here?
