I'm migrating this over from the Charger site I'm a member of. We noticed on some 2021 builds that brakes with a larger sweep were incorporated starting 2021 and after some digging around Torque News conveniently released an article that Calif enacted the ban on copper brake pads starting in 2021 forcing Dodge to use an alternate brake pad which necessitated the slightly larger pad sweep because of the material change. It appears Chevy will need to hop on board soon.
