I have an AC leak, as indicated by the fact that there was exactly no refrigerant in the system initially. I was able to put half a can in the system by using an alligator clip wire to connect the two wires in the receiver dryer wiring harness (I'm pretty sure the thing next to the firewall on the passenger side is the receiver dryer.
