What time is it? It’s drift time. REC Watches has partnered with world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. for a special time bracelet that is a tribute to Gittin’s Mustang RTR drifter.

The most noticeable details of the P-51 RTR are the dial and bezel. They’re made from aluminum and carbon fibre that was taken right off the race car.

The sapphire-crystal gets an anti-reflective coating, and the leather strap wears a sort of roman numeral 25 stitched into it, like the same numbering on the back of the drift car. The clear back shows Gittin’s name as well as the rotor that copies the Tech 7 alloys on the drift car. The engraving on the back matches the pattern of the drift car’s front grille.

If you want even more details, look beside the crown. The laser engraving is taken from the Mustang’s triple taillights.

The watch is limited to just 350 pieces, priced at $1,895 each. It’s available now to pre-order.
