Ford Performance is planning to feature more than 50 vehicles at the SEMA show at the end of this month. Now they’re teasing five special Mustangs from five prominent tuners that will be featured as part of the display.
The first comes from Galpin Auto Sports. It’s a widebody Mustang with a road race-inspired design. That includes a beefy front splitter and a big rear wing fitted to the Mustang GT. Under the hood are a host of Ford Performance parts like a supercharger and cat-back exhaust. Plus Ford Performance suspension including GT350R brakes. Filling up those wheel wells are 305-wide Toyo Proxes R888-R track day tires on 20-inch 1221 Apex wheels.
CJ Pony Parts calls theirs an American tribute. Instead of ghost flames, the shadow grey paint gets a ghost Stars and Stripes. It’s a drift machine, so it’s fitted with a roll cage painted copper. It uses Ford Performance springs and UPR suspension upgrades. It’s also got a supercharger on the 5.0L V8.
The CGS Mustang is a sleeker design, though it helps that it’s a concept style drawing instead of a more finished product rendering. It wears a TS Designs widebody kit as well as underbody LED lighting. The wheels are enormous 22-inch models from Savini.
The Bojix Design car adds Ford Performance shocks and springs to help it corner. It also wears a massive APR wing and an equally large front splitter. Plus rocker panel extensions. The bright blue and grey paint stands out, but if you don’t notice that you’ll notice the Bojix Design exhaust. If that doesn’t get your attention, the Kicker audio system taking up the back seat probably will.
Finally, the TJIN Edition car. It’s the only one that uses the 2.3L EcoBoost four, but it helps give that engine an edge. It uses a Ford cat-back exhaust, a Full-Race manifold, and a bigger BorgWarner turbocharger. It wears an RTR body fit, a Recaro and Katzkin interior, and rides on Air Lift air suspension.
