Ford has amped up the PR and experiential marketing efforts surrounding the new 2018 Mustang.

Pre-production demo cars have begun showing up at enthusiast events across the country, and a recent outing gives us our best listen yet to the Mustang GT’s new active exhaust, along with a look at the dynamic digital dash.

The exhaust now has three active modes, quiet, sport and track mode, which can be altered on the fly. We now get to hear exactly how each mode will come across to bystanders and neighbors.

Luckily, we also get a quick look at the changes to the digital cluster when flipping through the performance modes.
