With its big 5.4-liter engine, it’s mid-engine layout, and its production run of more than 4,000 units, the Ford GT has had a long life as a tuner darling. Case in point, this M2K Motorsports GT that recently hit 300.4 mph after just a mile.
The speed was hit at the Teas Mile and the car that got to that speed was a street legal Ford GT. According to the company, it makes around 2,500 hp at the crank and 2,000 at the wheels, though it’s hard to find a dyno that can actually measure that much power.
Regardless, the speed is beyond question.
