At first glance, this may seem like a poorly modified Mustang, or not a Mustang at all.

But take a closer look and you’ll see this car is famous, well, kind of. It was built for a Rexona commercial in which the driver’s armpits explode because of his profuse sweating. He could have avoided the entire ordeal if he had just applied Rexona before trying to dust a Nissan 350z, but he instead elected to conflagrate behind the wheel.

What was at one point a 1996 Ford Mustang with a 5.0-liter and a 5-speed has been modified beyond recognition with a wild fiberglass bodykit, which is unfortunately pretty damaged. The interior also looks like somebody set off some firecrackers in it –  probably not far from the truth if you watch the ad. It’s worth noting the ad was uploaded to YouTube by the actor whose armpits combust. Making this even more hilarious is the only comment on the video is from the current owner, proudly proclaiming his ownership of the car.

For the price, this is almost worth it to buy as a conversation piece. Or if you’re looking for a quirky race car to take to the strip, this one has quite the funny story to tell. If you’re still wondering why somebody (or you) would buy such a thing, well this line from the ad pretty much sums it up:

“WHY DID I BUY IT WELL I LOVE CRAZY CARS AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH I WON IT AT AUCTION AND DIDNT WANT TO LOL.”
