Not super familiar with bronze shift fork pads, but I was told by one shop that these are a wear item and they would only last 10-20 thousand miles before needing replaced.

Other shops state this is a standard upgrade over the plastic shift fork pads. Anyone have experience with this? I'm just looking for a nice crisp shift feel. It's a Mustang so I do plan on running this thing pretty hard.
