Does anyone have good or bad experiences or knowledge about aluminum FE water pumps. Looking to put one one a big cubic inch (480 - 550) with a 8000 rpm peak. I'm worried that these pumps are just recast OEM or just slightly modified new designs. If I'm going to spend ~$200 for a water pump I really want a new pump with better bearings, shafts, impellers, higher flow rates, balanced flow, better engineering, etc... Hoping someone can speak to this.
