Ford will reveal the most important vehicle in its fleet later this week at a live-streamed event on June 25 at 8 PM eastern time.
To get us excited for the next-generation F-150, Ford has teased the truck’s front-end, revealing the LED daytime running light signature, which brackets a large front end.
Reports suggest that this generation of F-150 will be more evolutionary than revolutionary. Although the last generation introduced an all-aluminum body, the 2021 model is expected to modernize the truck with new styling, upgraded powertrains, and a more luxurious and technologically advanced interior.
A large, vertically-oriented touchscreen is supposed to be on the cards, as is a “sleeper seat,” which folds flat to allow for naps.
Ford has said that the COVID-19 pandemic will not affect the launch of the F-150. Production is expected to start in the coming months with sales starting in the fall.
For now, that will just be the standard F-150. A Raptor and hybrid models are expected to follow early next year.
