I have a 66 Mustang 289 automatic and last year, probably in June, I attempted to start up my mustang to diagnose some running issues it had and the starter became stuck engaged after the engine had already started and the key was switched off and removed from the ignition cylinder. I cut power by unscrewing the battery disconnect switch on the ground post that I had installed. I havent had time to dig into it since.
