My 04 4.6 5-speed idles at about 900 rpm when it's warmed up, which I think is normal.

At any rate, when you guys pull the electrical plug on the IAC with the engine running, does your engine die?

That's been the case with my other vehicles. When I pull mine, it definitely has trouble keeping running, but doesn't die - so wondering if that means vacuum leak.
