i have an 85 302 in a 81 mustang and when i look up the converter for it they show a 11.375 bolt pattern . but when i look up the flexplate it shows a 11.5 pattern. i'm confused on if the converter will work with such a different pattern or is it a case of manufacturers using different numbers for the same basic size. i've read they're the same and i've read they're are different. just confused on why the same site would list two different part sizes for the same car.
