Here's the deal, the 5.0 EFI engine in my 56 F100 came from (I think) a 1988 era Mustang. Searching for numbers on the block to verify hasn't been positive yet. Anyway, I don't have the "check engine light" available, but I did find the EEC module hanging in the engine bay. I am assuming this is what is referred to as OBD-1, not OBD-2, due to the age of the engine? What sort of diagnostic reader tool would I need to learn more about this?
