I recently pulled out the spare tire to clean up the area where it sits and got to wondering if it is even necessary to keep onboard in my situation.

First, this car is normally driven locally where help from a friend or family member is only a phone call away. In most cases within 30 minutes I could retrieve a floor jack and impact driver to pull it and get to a tire shop...

Ditch the spare tire?
