I recently have issues with my car skipping gear 2 and 4 on automatic. I’ll be hitting gear 7-8 at 35mph.

but yet on sport mode everything works fine.
Anyone has dealt with this and maybe can help narrow it down. Don’t really know where to start. Some say transmission needs maintenance some say it’s a software issue.. no check engine light
