Hey guys,

Been doing some reading on this and I wanted to see what ya'll would say about this.

From my understanding, it is safe to do as long as you wait for the RPM's to come back down to the RPM's it was at before you popped it into neutral.

For example: You're driving 50 mph, 8th gear, 2500 RPM. You pop it into neutral then rev it up to 7000 RPM then wait for it to come back down to 2500 RPM then pop it back into drive.

I wouldn't normally rev it going that fast but it is just used...

rev the engine in neutral while in motion w/automatic?
