Hey guys I have a 1967 mustang coupe and curious about a bad ts switch.

Is it possible that the turn signal switch can make the ts flasher to go bad? The switched 12v wire in the ts harness loses power every time I install a new flasher and try to activate the turn signal. Could it be a bad ts switch to blow the flasher? Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
