I’m retrofitting an emergency flasher switch and harness in my ‘65 convertible, 3 speed, 289. I know next to nothing about electricity and wiring on a car. That being said, I installed the flasher harness. Nothing. Flashers won’t work. I followed the wiring diagram. I connected the orange/yellow & Blue/white to the cigarette lighter. I did a quick voltage check and it was getting 12 volts into the lighter after I connected the new harness into it. So there is power getting that far...
