Not sure if this is normal or not, this is my first new edge with a stock clutch.

Clutch, pressure plate, tob, and clutch cable are all new. I've followed the adjustment procedures and every time it results in the clutch engaging at the top of the pedal travel and it just feels off to me. Is this normal behavior for a stock clutch and pressure plate?
