I now have the income to re-enter this game and want to satisfy a childhood dream and grab a 427R

I called every one I could find in the country online, there were maybe 5-10 and only got 3 calls back so far.

Some questions for you guys:
1. Is there something more comprehensive than a visual pre-purchase inspection? I called the mechanic I trust...
