I bought this 1999 mustang gt automatic a few months back, in the sellers (daughter of owner who passed away) driveway the car idled after putting a new battery in. I pressed on the accelerator and car instantly died and would only turn over. We tow it to my home and it sits for a while while I attempt to diagnose it.
