Hello,

Working on a 2007 v6 and the coolant temp sensor is bad, it has thrown a code. I go get the replacement and spent a while looking for the clip to pull the sensor out. After giving up i try unscrewing it and sure enough that works. So my dilemma now is I have a threaded coolant temp sensor that doesn't pop up in the auto stores computers since the OE style is the push in then slide the clip in.

The car does have a metal thermostat housing but I can't find a picture of the same one...

Threaded CT Sensor instead of clip style???
