Had shop fire, and am in need of getting this 49 CJ running as a farm tractor. I have all but the engine, and was given three isuzu diesels that I do not have the ability to use. In all my research, the 2.3 sounds strong enough, novak makes the plates again, and I have to scrounge. I have questions like: I am not thrilled ( at this initial point )
with the idea of fuel injected over carbonated. I need suggestions on that subject. Live in hilly country, the speeds will be slow, and not a lot...

Need 2.3 knowledge on putting one into willys CJ3.
