I have a 2006 GT that came to me in 2016 with a Viper alarm system on it. Never was crazy about it since it was not hooked up to open the trunk. Had to do that manually. Now it died, will no longer receive the remote even after reprogramming so I pulled the fuse and I will be pulling the entire system once I get enough energy to get into the wiring to do it correctly. What I want to know is how good is the original OATS system? My car apparently has that system since it flashes on the dash...
