Is it possible to bypass the conventional starter?
I'm attempting to run a set up of a 1970 Ford Mach 1 5.8l 351C with a 2012 Ford Mustang GT MT82 6 speed hydraulic manual transmission.
I am able to get both engine and transmission to bolt up beautifully.
The issue I'm running into is the starter.
The starter that normally goes with the 351 is way to big for the MT82 bell housing.
So the obvious solution would be to go with the much smaller starter that normally bolts up with the MT82...
