I am having an issue with my 1965 coupe with a 289, alternator system, and C4 auto. Some guy had butchered some of the wiring harness behind the instrument cluster, and I had finally had enough of the issues. He had ran a wire from the battery positive side of the starter solenoid (original external location) to both the 12V and 5V side of the voltage regulator, and also ran a constant 12V thru the ground of my head unit (the stereo head unit still only grounds to frame after...
