I’m new to the Classic Mustang family, just bought a ‘65 Coupe with a 302 and C4. First time I drove it after buying, it began to get a little hotter than I would like so I pulled over. After being pulled over and going into a store, I can put and the starter wouldn’t turn over. I called the previous owner of the car and he called his mechanic. Mechanic said that the C4 heats up and gets the starter too hot so that it won’t start until cooldown. This is if you are driving the 3 speed...
