2006 gt stock. Beyond the boot and foam sock at the base of the stick I can see the road. Is this normal? Was there an added layer of heat protection. I bought the car at 76k. Now 94k. If this is normal what is the best way to add prorection. The center gets too hot to touch. Thanks.
