I have a 98' Mustang GT with the 4 speed automatic trans with overdrive (4r70w). My wiring harness got burnt up pretty bad from touching the exhaust so I repaired it and then the same thing happened. I am just going to replace the whole harness for the tranny. This guy on facebook marketplace has a 4r70w for a 99-01 ford explorer. Will the harness from the explorer work in my mustang or does it have to be specific to my mustang and if so where could I get one at, I already checked rockauto...
