This started one day out of the blue.
For example, I accelerate from a stop in 1st gear.
I hear the exhaust purr rise in frequency, let's say up to 2500 RPM, then I push the clutch and I hear this very loud growling noise, like 5 times as loud as the exhaust purr.
The growl lasts as long as it takes the engine to return to idle speed.
Push the clutch dropping the drive train at the end of second gear and then the same very loud growl.
